Taking stock
When we are able to spend time doing things that are in line with our values, skills, passions it keeps us feeling energised and motivated. It can however be easy to lose our focus on what’s most important. Taking time to reflect on our lives can help ensure we are making time for the things that will make us feel most well.
When we face challenges, taking time out to reflect can help us consider whether our responses are making the challenge better or worse.
Taking stock is good for our wellbeing because it keeps us focussed on the bigger aspirations, goals and desires we have and allows us to keep investing in these as best we can.
