Being Real
“Being yourself is the greatest gift you can give yourself and the world because the world needs more authentic and real souls.”
― Hiral Nagda
Being Real about yourself and living with the realities of yourself is easier said than do. Crucial to this idea is to see yourself as you really are and accept that’s who and where you are. This can include living authentically - being yourself - which is far less stressful than trying to be someone else. It can also involve recognising and accepting your strengths and weaknesses. Psychologist Carl Rogers said “The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”
